The Salomon S/Max 10 XT is an all-mountain frontside ski designed for skiers who enjoy carving groomed slopes while still having the freedom to explore varied terrain. It comes as a complete package with bindings, so you can get out on the mountain without extra hassle.

In its 163 cm length, the ski features a 14 m radius for a balanced feel between quick turns and longer arcs, while the 127/76/107 mm sidecut profile offers stability at speed and agility on tighter lines. The Salomon MI12 GW bindings (80 mm brakes) in copen blue-black are pre-mounted and tuned to Salomon’s standards. At around 2010 g per ski, the S/Max 10 XT strikes a balance between solid downhill performance and manageable swing weight.

The term “radius” refers to the theoretical curve created by the ski’s shape—14 m means it naturally pivots into medium-sized turns, making edge-to-edge transitions more responsive. The sidecut measurements (127 mm tip, 76 mm waist, 107 mm tail) describe how the ski narrows underfoot, which influences how it grips the snow and holds stability during a carve. An 80 mm binding brake matches the ski’s waist to prevent the ski from sliding away if you release from the binding.
