The Arcteryx Gamma MX Hoody Men's is a hooded softshell jacket built as a versatile outer layer for a range of outdoor pursuits. Its regular fit and minimalist design move with you, while offering coverage from wind and light moisture.

Constructed from 85% nylon and 15% elastane, the fabric blends toughness with just enough stretch to adapt to your movements on trail or rock. Weighing 555 grams, it balances sturdy coverage with manageable weight, and the hood provides extra shelter when conditions shift without blocking your line of sight.

Arcteryx’s Fortius 2.0™ softshell technology uses a two-layer structure: a durable outer face for abrasion resistance and a breathable inner membrane that helps vapor escape. The durable water repellent (DWR) finish makes water bead up and roll off the fabric, and Bluesign certification means the materials meet strict standards for environmental impact and safety during production.
