The Therme Parka Men's from Arc’teryx is a long-cut winter jacket designed to keep you warm and dry when temperatures drop and snow or rain move in. It’s built for anyone spending time outdoors in cold, wet conditions, whether you’re heading out on a winter hike or navigating city streets after a storm.
Under its 100% nylon shell, this parka uses a 2-layer GORE-TEX membrane to shed water and resist wind, while Coreloft™ synthetic panels work alongside 750-fill goose down to lock in warmth. The mix of down and synthetic insulation means you stay insulated even if the outer layers get damp, and the longer length offers extra coverage against drafts.
GORE-TEX is a waterproof, breathable membrane bonded between the shell and an inner layer, so moisture from outside can’t get in, but sweat vapor can escape. The 750 fill-power rating measures how much space one ounce of down occupies—higher fill power means more loft and better heat retention. A breathability rating of 17,000 g/m²/24 h indicates that the fabric lets out a substantial amount of moisture as you move, helping to keep the inside of the parka from feeling clammy.
