Product Description

The Salt Creek SL2 Footprint from Big Agnes is designed to fit the Salt Creek SL2 tent, providing an extra layer between your tent floor and the ground. It helps guard against moisture, abrasion and dirt, so you can camp with a bit more confidence and extend the life of your tent.

Made from lightweight polyester taffeta with a 1500 mm PU coating, this footprint weighs just 0.181 kg and packs down to 23 × 15 cm. Carrying this low-profile groundsheet won’t weigh you down on the trail, and the durable fabric stands up to rocky or abrasive surfaces that would otherwise wear at your tent floor.

The 1500 mm PU coating refers to its hydrostatic head rating, meaning the fabric can resist a column of water 1.5 m high before it starts to seep through. This level of waterproofing is ideal for keeping light rain and ground moisture out, while the tight weave of the taffeta adds strength without adding bulk.

To extend the life of your tent floor, we recommend using a Big Agnes footprint. The Big Agnes footprint also enables you to pitch a lightweight, Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly configuration requires the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes.
