The Game Day Jacket Boy’s from Burton is designed to keep young outdoor enthusiasts comfortable when the weather turns damp. It’s a versatile shell that works just as well on a rainy day hike as it does for everyday wear at school or around town.

Built with Burton’s DRYRIDE™ technology and a 2-layer construction, this jacket sheds light rain while allowing body heat and moisture to escape. The 2-layer design means a waterproof membrane is bonded to the outer fabric, offering reliable protection without weighing down little shoulders. At the same time, its breathability rating helps reduce clamminess during active play or longer adventures.

Breathability is measured in grams of moisture that can pass through a square metre of fabric in 24 hours; a 5,000 g/m²/24 h rating indicates the jacket will release sweat vapor reasonably well, keeping the wearer feeling drier during high-energy activities. The DRYRIDE™ membrane works by letting moisture out while preventing water from getting in, so damp weather doesn’t cut playtime short.
