The Burton Men’s Custom X 21/22 is an all-mountain snowboard designed for riders who spend their days carving groomers, exploring varied resort terrain and seeking a responsive, stable ride. With a directional twin shape and advanced construction, it aims to handle everything from packed snow to softer sections off the beaten path.

This board’s all-mountain directional shape shifts more mass toward the nose for better float and smoother turn entry, while still allowing switch riding when you want. The camber profile delivers strong edge hold and reliable pop for dynamic turns and quick rebounds off features. A flex rating of 8 on Burton’s scale keeps the board stiff enough to stay stable at speed and precise underfoot, yet still forgiving enough to maneuver through changing snow conditions.

Camber refers to the slight arch underfoot when the board is laid flat: it stores energy for snap-back and helps maintain grip on harder snow. The all-mountain directional outline means the nose is slightly longer than the tail, optimizing forward riding balance and float without sacrificing the ability to ride switch.
