Coleman Porch Closure 4L

The Porch Closure 4L from Coleman is an add-on panel that closes off the porch section of your tent, giving you shelter from wind and light rain while creating a more private space just outside your sleeping area.

Made from 100% polyester with a PU coating and flame-retardant treatment, the Porch Closure 4L strikes a balance between durability and safety. Its 4,000 mm water-resistance rating helps keep light showers at bay, and the included fiberglass poles mean it’s sturdy without adding too much weight to your kit. At 300 × 145 cm it covers a sizable porch area while the 3.3 kg pack weight keeps it manageable on longer trips.

The 4,000 mm figure refers to the fabric’s water column rating, meaning it can withstand the pressure of a 4 m-high column of water before leaking. While this stops light to moderate rainfall, in heavy or prolonged storms you may notice some seepage. The PU (polyurethane) coating enhances water resistance and adds a layer of protection against wear, and the fiberglass poles offer flexibility and strength without the bulk of metal alternatives.
