The Insomnia S Testski from Elan is an all-mountain ski setup designed for skiers looking to explore varied terrain. This package includes the ELW 9 GW Shift binding in black, making it ready to try out straight away. As a test ski offering, it gives you a chance to experience Elan’s design before committing to a full purchase.

At 158 cm, the Insomnia S features a 13.9 m radius that strikes a balance between nimble turn initiation and stable arc control. The sidecut dimensions of 125/76/104 mm create a versatile profile that helps you hold an edge through carved turns while still allowing for smooth transitions. Pairing these skis with the ELW 9 GW Shift binding adds reliable grip-walk compatibility for easier walking and solid retention when you’re on the descent.

A turn radius of 13.9 m means the ski is geared toward medium-sized turns: you won’t be fighting it into tighter, quick changes, nor will it feel sluggish when rolling through longer curves.
