Product Description

The Exped MegaMat 10 MW with pump is a self-inflating sleeping mat built for solo campers who need both comfort and thermal protection in cold conditions. It’s designed to offer a supportive sleeping surface on uneven ground and to keep you insulated when temperatures drop far below freezing.

At 10 cm thick and measuring 183 × 65 cm, this mat provides a generous lying area that remains stable night after night. The open-cell foam core traps air to cushion you against rocks and roots, while the included pump bag helps you achieve a consistent firmness without introducing moisture into the foam. When you’re ready to move on, the mat rolls down to about 67 × 20 cm, making it easier to strap to a backpack or tuck into a larger gear sack.

With an R-value of 8.1, this pad offers a high level of thermal resistance—meaning it slows heat loss from your body to the cold ground. The open-cell foam structure consists of interconnected air pockets that enhance insulation by trapping warm air close to your body. The outer fabric is 100 % 50D polyester laminated with TPU and certified to Oeko-Tex standards, giving you a weather-resistant surface that’s also been tested for low chemical content.
