Product Description

The Barents Parka by Fjällräven is a rugged winter jacket for men who need reliable warmth and durability in cold outdoor conditions. It’s designed to handle everyday winter use, whether you’re hiking through frosty terrain or heading into town on a crisp day.

Built around Fjällräven’s G-1000 Original fabric paired with G-1000 HeavyDuty, the parka offers a sturdy outer layer that stands up to regular wear. Inside, it’s filled with 140 g/m² of Supreme Microloft and Hydratic insulation, locking in heat without adding too much bulk. A breathability rating of 7,000 g/m²/24 h helps manage moisture when you’re on the move, keeping your layers dryer and more comfortable.

Supreme Microloft is a synthetic insulation that traps air to retain warmth even if it gets damp, offering down-like loft with better performance in wet conditions. The Hydratic® membrane works alongside the insulation to help regulate moisture inside the jacket. A breathability rating of 7,000 g/m²/24 h means the fabric allows significant water vapour to pass through, reducing the buildup of sweat during activity.
