At 16 liters of capacity and weighing in at just 410 grams, this pack strikes a balance between roomy and lightweight. The slim 14 × 28 × 36 cm profile slips easily under a seat or into a locker, while the durable polypropylene shoulder straps stand up to daily use. Inside, the soft lyocell lining adds a subtle touch of comfort and helps manage moisture, making it more pleasant against the items you carry.

Lyocell is a cellulose-based fiber made from wood pulp through a solvent-spinning process. It’s prized for its smooth feel, breathability and ability to wick moisture away, so the inside of your pack stays dry and your gear isn’t subjected to excess humidity.

With Tree-Kånken, Fjällräven has explored alternatives to fossil-based raw materials. Made from Pine Weave, a unique fabric produced using more sustainable methods from certified wood raw material from Sweden. The material is waxed, giving it a natural melange effect. The backpack combines the simplicity of Kånken with carefully modified details that give Tree-Kånken its own identity: reflective logo, flat front pocket and a strap for fastening gear underneath.
