Product Description

The Hanwag Makra Low GTX is a low-cut hiking shoe built for approach routes and light trekking. Its Gore-Tex lining keeps water out while allowing moisture to escape, so your feet stay dry when the weather turns or you encounter wet ground.

Its suede and Cordura upper provides a tough yet breathable shell against rocks and rough trails, and the Alpine Wide last gives extra room in the forefoot for all-day comfort. The Vibram Pepe outsole delivers dependable grip on mixed terrain, and at around 910 g per pair, the Makra Low GTX strikes a balance between sturdiness and ease of movement without weighing you down.

Soaks up plenty of punishment! The low-cut version of the Makra Combi GTX has a high-quality, abrasion-resistant leather and Cordura® upper. Its lightweight design and compact size means that stores away easily in a climbing pack, making it the ideal approach shoe for fast-moving, technical terrain. We equip it with a weight-optimised, aggressive sole that ensures outstanding grip and traction. And thanks to the GORE-TEX lining, it will also keep your feet dry in wet conditions.
