Head’s Kore 87 23/24 is an all-mountain frontside ski designed to deliver a comfortable ride across groomed runs and varied terrain. With its 87 mm waist, it balances the precision of a carving ski with enough surface for light powder or soft snow.
The Kore 87’s 130/87/110 mm shape (tip/waist/tail) makes turn initiation smooth while retaining stability at higher speeds, and at 1,575 g per ski (177 cm) it stays agile without feeling too flimsy. A flat mounting allows you to fit the binding system of your choice, so you can dial in the flex and control that suit your style.
The ski’s 16 m radius means it naturally tracks medium-sized turns—snappy enough for lively carving but not overly tight when you pick up speed. The tip, waist and tail measurements refer to the ski’s width at those points: a wider tip and tail help with flotation and edge grip, while the narrower waist lets you switch edges more quickly. A flat binding mount gives you the freedom to choose your preferred binding interface without added height.

Head says about the Kore 87 23/24
The bridge between the frontside and backside, the KORE 87 offers performance in a lightweight package. HEAD's weight-saving focus does not mean soft. HEAD fuses light Graphene into the KORE 87's tip and tail for even weight distribution. Light but stiff Karuba wood in the core is sandwiched by a triaxle weave carbon layer adding responsiveness. A sandwich sidewall construction, vibration absorption properties underfoot and a new topsheet shape round out the KORE 87's ability to charge or cruise.
