The Star Tunnel II DEMO from Jack Wolfskin is a midweight tunnel tent designed to shelter two people on camping trips. Its straightforward design makes setup manageable while providing enough headroom and living space for gear and sleeping comfortably.

The flysheet and groundsheet are crafted from robust polyester fabrics—100% recycled 75D RE polyester on the outside and 150D Hydrofilm polyester on the floor—paired with a lightweight 40D polyamide inner tent and fine mosquito mesh. This combination keeps insects at bay, resists abrasion from rough ground, and contributes to a reliable shelter in changing conditions. You’ll also find a roll-up stuffsack, repair kit, pegs and guylines included, so you have the essentials covered from the moment you unpack.

Denier (D) measures the thickness of individual fibers: 75D polyester for the flysheet strikes a balance between weight and strength, while the heavier 150D floor material stands up to wear where it’s needed most. The inner tent’s 40D mesh offers good airflow without adding bulk, and at 2.28 kg total weight, the Star Tunnel II DEMO remains light enough for longer hikes without sacrificing durability.
