Product Description

The K2 Joy Driver Split Package Testboard is built for backcountry riders who want to trek uphill with skis and ride down as a snowboard. Its splitboard design lets you convert the deck into two ski-like halves for skinning up and then click it back together to descend, offering a practical way to explore varied mountain terrain.

This board features a camber profile that maintains solid edge contact with the snow for stable carving, while providing a more energetic response underfoot compared to rocker shapes. With a flex rating of 8, it leans toward the stiffer end of the spectrum, which helps dampen chatter at speed and supports controlled turns in mixed conditions.

Camber means the board has a slight arch underfoot when laid flat, storing energy as you flex it and releasing that energy to give sharper turn initiation. The flex rating, on a scale typically from 1 (soft) to 10 (stiff), indicates how much resistance you feel when bending the board—an 8 offers stability in challenging terrain but requires a firmer stance and more precise input than a softer board.
