Product Description

The Kampa Action Drive-Away Awning adds a sheltered living area alongside SUV-style camper vans, creating extra room for cooking, relaxing or storing gear. It attaches to vehicles with a connection height of 180 to 210 cm and can be left freestanding once you drive off, giving you flexibility when laying out your campsite.

With a footprint of 290 by 270 cm and a peak height of around 205 cm, this awning offers enough space to stand up comfortably and fit a small table and chairs. The sturdy frame of fibreglass poles keeps the structure upright without adding too much bulk, while the bucket-style polyethylene groundsheet hooks onto the walls to keep out drafts and damp. When it’s time to move on, the 14.1 kg awning stows neatly into the included carry bag (72 x 30 x 27 cm), and pegs plus guy lines are packed in so you’re ready to pitch again in no time.

The outer fabric is Kampa’s own Weathershield™ 68D polyester, which uses a 68 denier yarn thickness to create a tough, weather-resistant wall that holds up to campsite wear. Fibreglass poles flex under wind and weight but spring back to shape, reducing the risk of breakage during setup. The bucket groundsheet has raised edges designed to trap water and dirt, helping keep the interior dry and clean.
