The Albula Insulated Hooded Jacket Women’s from Mammut is designed to keep you warm on active outdoor days or casual winter walks. With a regular fit and a snug hood, it provides core insulation without feeling bulky, making it a reliable companion for chilly mornings or brisk evening strolls.
Built with Ecodown® technology, this jacket uses recycled polyester insulation that mimics natural down clusters. The synthetic fill holds heat even in damp conditions, while the PFC-free outer fabric ensures a lighter environmental footprint. Certifications like Bluesign® and Fair Wear underline Mammut’s commitment to responsible manufacturing and sustainable materials.
Ecodown® is a form of recycled polyester insulation engineered to replicate the loft and compressibility of traditional down. Unlike natural down, it retains warmth when wet and dries more quickly, so you stay comfortable during changeable weather. Being PFC-free also means the water-repellent finish avoids harmful perfluorinated chemicals.

Mammut says about the Albula Insulated Hooded Jacket Women's
The Albula is among our most sustainable insulated jackets. It is made almost entirely of recycled materials: outer fabric made of recycled polyester, lining made of recycled polyamide. The Thermore® Ecodown® synthetic fiber filling is made from recycled PET bottles, making it the vegan, wash-and-wear alternative to down. It boasts excellent fill power as well as a high thermal rating even in damp conditions. The Albula is both comfortable and versatile. Its excellent warmth-to-weight ratio makes it great for hiking or everyday wear. On cold days, the loose cut makes it easy to combine with other garments and wear over a thick mid-layer.
