Product Description

The Mobicool MQ40W is a thermo-electric coolbox designed for camping, road trips or backyard gatherings. It runs on both 12 V and 230 V power, so you can plug it into your car’s socket or a campsite outlet to keep food and drinks chilled wherever you are.

Boasting a 39 litre capacity, the MQ40W holds enough for several days of supplies or a cooler full of bottles. At 8.4 kg it remains easy to carry and its footprint (48.5 × 60 × 42 cm) fits neatly into most car boots or crowded camp kitchens. The F energy label reflects a balance between cooling performance and power use, helping to keep your campsite electricity consumption in check without sacrificing too much efficiency.

This coolbox uses a Peltier-based thermoelectric module: when electricity flows through the semiconductor plates, one side cools down and the other heats up. That lets the interior drop up to 18 °C below the surrounding temperature—ideal for turning warm drinks into refreshing ones on hot days. Thermoelectric systems have few moving parts, run quietly and need very little upkeep, though they won’t freeze contents solid.
