Product Description

The Mobicool MT30 AC/DC is a portable electric cool box made for camping trips, road journeys or any outdoor excursion where keeping food and drinks chilled matters. It runs on both 12 V DC and 230 V AC power, so you can plug it into your car or into a mains socket with ease.

Offering 30 litres of storage, this cool box can accommodate bottles, cans and snacks for a small group. Its 39.6 × 29.6 × 44.5 cm footprint slots into most car boots or under a camping shelter, and at 4.3 kg it’s light enough to carry between spots. The thermo-electric cooling system keeps the noise level down, helping you enjoy a quieter campsite.

Thermo-electric cooling relies on the Peltier effect: when electric current flows through a junction of two different materials, heat moves from one side to the other. This setup has no refrigerants or compressor, so there’s less to go wrong and you won’t hear a loud motor running. While it won’t chill quite as deeply as a compressor model, it’s reliable, low-maintenance and perfectly suited to day-to-day outdoor use.
