The Osprey Ariel Pro 65 is a women’s-specific trekking backpack built for multi-day adventures. With a 65-liter main compartment, it’s designed to carry all the gear you need for extended trips into the backcountry, offering a balance between volume and packability.

Weighing in at just under 1.7 kg, this pack stays relatively light even when fully loaded, helping to reduce fatigue on long hikes. The adjustable torso harness lets you dial in a personalized fit, so the weight sits comfortably on your hips and shoulders. At 83 × 41 × 36 cm, it’s tall and narrow enough to navigate dense trails while still providing ample room for sleeping bags, cooking kits and extra layers. Although it isn’t fully waterproof, layering on a rain cover will keep your gear dry in typical mountain showers.

The key technical feature is the torso-length adjustment system: by measuring from your C7 vertebra to your iliac crest, you select one of three settings (XS, S or M) that align the harness with your spine. This ensures even load transfer to your hips, minimizes rubbing on your shoulders and helps maintain a stable, comfortable carry over varied terrain.
