The Trail Hipe Shell Jacket by Peak Performance is a lightweight, waterproof shell designed to keep you dry and comfortable on the trail. Built for outdoor adventures where unpredictable weather can turn a plan upside down, it delivers reliable protection without extra bulk or insulation.

Cut in a regular fit from a blend of 51% recycled polyester and 49% polyester, this jacket balances durability with a reduced environmental footprint. The PFC-free durable water-repellent finish helps rain bead off the fabric rather than soak in, while the HIPE® 2.5-layer construction means you get a slim, packable jacket that still keeps out wind and moisture. Together these features give you freedom of movement and reassurance that you won’t be weighed down when the skies open.

HIPE® refers to Peak Performance’s proprietary waterproof membrane laminated directly to the outer fabric, offering a barrier against water while allowing moisture vapour from sweat to escape. The “2.5-layer” design includes a lightweight printed backing instead of a full inner lining, shaving off weight and bulk without sacrificing protection. And by using a PFC-free water-repellent treatment, the jacket avoids perfluorinated chemicals, cutting environmental impact without compromising its ability to shed rain.
