Petzl Spirit Express - 17 cm

The Petzl Spirit Express quickdraw is a lightweight connector for sport and indoor climbing, designed to link your rope to bolts or other protection securely. With its 17 cm length, it’s aimed at climbers who want a balance between easy handling and reliable performance on the wall.

The two aluminium carabiners linked by a polyester sling keep this quickdraw durable and user-friendly without weighing you down (just 121 g). One carabiner has a straight gate, the other a bent gate—offering 21 mm and 24 mm openings—so clipping and unclipping feel smooth. The key-lock nose design helps prevent snagging on bolts or slings, which can make clipping a bit more straightforward when you’re mid-pitch.

The key-lock system refers to a smooth-nose design that stops the carabiner from catching on your rope, harness, or other gear as you clip or unclip. Gate openings indicate how wide the gap is when the gate is open—larger openings mean easier rope insertion. CE EN 12275 type B and UIAA certifications mean this quickdraw meets strict safety and strength standards set by international climbing bodies.
