The Rab Solar Eco 2 Wide is a two-season synthetic sleeping bag designed for campers who need a bit more room and reliable warmth on crisp spring and autumn nights. Its mummy-style shape helps retain heat while offering extra width for side sleepers or those who prefer a less restrictive fit.
Built with 20D Atmos™ recycled polyester ripstop on both the shell and insulation—which carries a PFC-free durable water-repellent finish—the bag resists light moisture and stands up to rough use on the trail. Inside, a soft recycled polyester lining keeps things comfortable against the skin. The generous cut around shoulders and hips gives you space to shift without compromising the snug footbox that holds warmth in.
The comfort rating of around 4°C means the bag keeps most sleepers warm through chilly nights without extra layers, with a lower comfort limit of approximately –1°C for those willing to bundle up a bit more. Ripstop fabric features a reinforced grid weave that stops small snags turning into big tears, and DWR (durable water repellent) helps rain or dew bead off the outer shell rather than soaking in.
