Inside, a scrim lining brings a subtle layer of warmth and helps moisture move away from your body. A durable water-repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain, so you stay drier on dewy mornings or quick drizzles.

Durable water-repellent (DWR) is a surface treatment that causes water to bead up and roll off the fabric rather than soaking in. Over time, this finish may wear down and can be renewed with a spray-on treatment, helping maintain the fabric’s water-shedding ability and extending the trousers’ useful life.
