The Safarica Indian Hills 360 is a spacious family tent designed to shelter up to five people on car-camping trips. With a generous footprint and a straightforward pole structure, it offers ample room for sleeping and a communal area for cooking or storing gear without introducing overly complex features.
The outer tent is made from 100% polyester, a material known for resisting wear and handling damp conditions, while the inner tent uses breathable polyamide to help reduce condensation and keep the air feeling fresh. A polyethylene tub groundsheet is sewn in to form raised sides around the base, helping to keep ground moisture at bay. Fiberglass poles create a flexible frame that bends under wind loads rather than snapping, and the included carry bag, pegs and guy lines mean you have everything needed to get set up quickly.
“Breathable polyamide” refers to a fabric that allows water vapour to pass through its fibers, so moisture generated inside (from people breathing or wet gear) can escape rather than pooling on the interior walls. The tub-style groundsheet is a continuous floor with upturned edges, forming a shallow basin that prevents water from seeping in at the seams. Fiberglass poles are made from layered glass fibers bonded with resin; they flex under stress and return to shape, offering a balance of strength and lightweight performance.
