Product Description

The Salomon X Ultra 3 Mid GTX is a men’s mid-height hiking shoe built to handle day hikes and light trekking. With a focus on support, traction and weather protection, it’s designed to keep you moving confidently over varied terrain.

Constructed from a combination of mesh and synthetic materials, this shoe balances breathability with durability, while its regular width offers a secure, comfortable fit for most feet. The Gore-Tex lining blocks moisture from the outside without trapping sweat, and the Contragrip TD outsole’s grippy lugs give reliable traction on wet rocks, loose dirt and other challenging surfaces.

Gore-Tex is a waterproof, breathable membrane that seals out rain and puddles but lets moisture from your foot escape, helping prevent clamminess. Contragrip TD refers to Salomon’s rubber compound with deep, multi-directional lugs; it’s engineered for durability and sure-footed grip on technical trails. The A | B category rating indicates these shoes are suited for both light backpacking (A) and regular day hikes (B), making them a versatile choice for a range of outdoor adventures.
