Samaya Vestibule 2.0 Nylon

The Samaya Vestibule 2.0 Nylon is a tent vestibule designed to extend the sheltered area of your tent by adding a covered front entry. Weighing 575 g (1 lb 4 oz) and with a footprint of 110 cm by 90 cm and centre height of 90 cm, it offers extra room to stash muddy boots, gear or cook in a sheltered spot outside the main tent body.

The canopy and integrated snow skirt are both made from high-tenacity Nylon 66 ripstop with a 3,000 mm water column, so it holds off light to moderate rain while keeping weight down. The main canopy uses a 20D fabric at 41 g/m² for a good strength-to-weight balance, and the 30D, 54 g/m² skirt provides extra durability where the vestibule meets the ground. A single DAC FeatherLite™ NFL 8.7 mm pole shapes the roof without adding bulk, and the vestibule comes with Swiss Piranha RT90 and RT120 stakes plus guy lines to help keep everything stable in breezy conditions.

Denier (D) measures the thickness of the fabric yarns—20D or 30D tells you how fine or heavy those yarns are, so higher numbers mean tougher material. Ripstop refers to a woven grid of thicker threads that stops small tears from spreading. The 3,000 mm water column rating shows how much pressure the fabric can withstand before leaking, making it suitable for drizzly or mild weather. The DAC FeatherLite NFL pole is a lightweight aluminium alloy pole prized for its strength-to-weight ratio, giving reliable support without adding much bulk.
