The Samaya 2.5 2022 is a geodetic, two-person ultralight tent designed for backpackers who need reliable shelter without extra bulk. Its streamlined design balances interior space with a minimal footprint, making it suitable for long treks and high-mountain bivouacs where every gram counts.

Built around a network of DAC FeatherLite™ NFL poles, the tent maintains a sturdy shape that stands up to wind and uneven ground. The walls use a three-layer laminated fabric with a Nanovent® membrane, combining breathability with tear resistance, while the floor’s 43 g/m² Dyneema® Composite Fabric adds puncture resistance at an ultralight weight. When packed down, it squeezes into a 6.2 L volume, so it tucks neatly into a backpack without hogging space.

Dyneema Composite Fabric is prized for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, resisting abrasions and tears far better than typical nylon. The DAC FeatherLite™ NFL poles, at 8.7 mm diameter, use a high-grade aluminum alloy to deliver firm support while keeping weight low. The Nanovent® membrane is a micro-porous layer bonded between fabric sheets; it lets moisture vapor escape to reduce condensation, yet holds up under wind and damp conditions.
