Scarpa Ribelle OD

The Scarpa Ribelle OD is a men’s hiking shoe made for alpine trails and challenging terrain. It comes in a wide fit to offer extra room across the foot, easing pressure points when you’re covering rough ground.

With a nubuck leather upper, the Ribelle OD combines toughness with natural breathability, letting excess moisture escape while standing up to abrasion from rocks and roots. The wide last gives more space around the forefoot, helping to prevent hot spots and blisters. Its stiffer midsoles—part of the C-category design—provide added support and stability when footing is uncertain.

“C” in hiking footwear refers to a firmer sole and reinforced ankle support compared with lighter models. This rigidity helps protect against sharp edges underfoot and keeps the foot aligned when carrying weight, while still allowing enough flex for a normal walking stride. Nubuck is a type of full-grain leather that’s lightly sanded for a soft, velvet-like feel without sacrificing durability.
