The Thule Approach L is a soft-top rooftop tent designed to bring a straightforward sleeping setup to your vehicle. It attaches to roof bars of at least 90 cm in width, letting you camp off the ground wherever you can park your car. Built with adventure in mind, it offers a sturdy platform for nights under the stars without dragging a large ground tent with you.

Inside, the tent unfolds to provide a comfortable sleeping area that supports up to 300 kg—enough for two adults and their gear. Its 600D polyester ripstop outer fabric stands up to branches and brush, while the compact packed size (124 × 143 × 28 cm) keeps wind resistance and storage space on your roof rack to a minimum. Altogether, these features strike a balance between robustness and a manageable profile for extended trips.

“600D” refers to the density of the polyester threads, with a higher denier indicating a tougher, more tear-resistant fabric. The 300 kg load rating reflects the maximum weight the tent’s base and supports can safely hold, giving you confidence in its stability.
