Product Description

The Armada Tracer 118 is a wide-waisted ski designed for riders who spend most of their time off-piste or in deep snow. With its 118 mm waist, it’s built to deliver reliable flotation and stability when you’re pointing downhill through powder fields or soft snowfields.

At 188 cm, the Tracer 118 features a smooth bend radius and specific waist width that help it carve predictable arcs without feeling sluggish. Its flat mounting platform gives you the freedom to choose and position your own bindings, so you can fine-tune your setup for either touring ascents or demanding descents. Weighing in at just under 2 kg per ski, it strikes a balance between solid downhill performance and manageable heft when you’re lugging gear.

Turning radius refers to the length of the arc a ski naturally wants to follow—at 20 m, the Tracer 118 can make medium-sized turns without requiring excessive effort to steer. Taillering, or sidecut dimensions, are listed as 144 / 118 / 135 at this length: a wider tip and tail with a narrower waist creates that spatula-like shape, helping the ski to float on top of powder while still engaging the edges when you want to carve firm snow.

The Tracer 118 is our ultimate big-mountain performer. Elf Shoe Technology in the nose and a slight tail rocker keep things surfy, but this ski is designed with big boy terrain in mind, integrating Adaptive Mesh to absorb chatter and power through any snow condition. We paired a lightweight and poweful Caruba-Poplar Core with a larger fiberglass package to decrease weight and add durability. Titanal reinforcement underfoot and AR 75 Sidewall construction keep the ski damp and powerful for when you need it most.
