Product Description

The Atomic Bent Chetler 100 (model year 21/22) is a mid-width freeride ski designed to balance flotation in softer snow with responsive edge control on firmer terrain. With its 100 mm waist, it sits in the mid-fat category, offering riders the opportunity to explore varied slopes without committing to a full powder-specific setup.

At 180 cm, these skis feature a 19.5 m turn radius that blends quick, snappy arcs with stability at speed. The 129.5/100/120 mm shape gives enough surface area underfoot for reliable float in softer snow while maintaining grip on harder pack. With a flat binding mount and a weight of around 1700 g per ski, they stay lively underfoot, so longer days in the hills feel less tiring.

The turn radius (19.5 m at 180 cm) describes the natural arc the ski wants to carve—this medium radius offers a good mix of tight turns and long, sweeping lines. The sidecut dimensions (tip 129.5 mm, waist 100 mm, tail 120 mm) shape its performance: wider tips aid flotation, a narrower waist speeds up edge-to-edge transitions, and a slightly narrower tail helps the ski exit turns cleanly.
