Product Description

The Black Crows Nocta 22/23 is a 185 cm alpine ski from the 2022/23 range, intended for skiers who want straightforward performance across different snow conditions. It handles firmer trails and softer patches without leaning heavily towards one style.

With a 140 mm tip, 122 mm waist and 132 mm tail, the Nocta’s sidecut balances flotation in softer snow and solid edge hold on harder surfaces. Its 21-meter turning radius lets the ski settle into medium-radius arcs without feeling overly stiff or vague. Weighing in at roughly 2,000 grams per ski, it offers a stable feel at speed while remaining reasonably easy to pivot when you need to adjust quickly.

Sidecut radius refers to the curvature of the ski’s edge—here 21 meters means it naturally wants to carve medium-size turns rather than pinballing side to side or forcing extremely tight arcs. A wider tip helps the ski rise over soft snow, the 122 mm waist keeps edges locked in on firm ground, and the 132 mm tail aids in a smooth exit from turns. At about 2 kg per ski, the weight provides enough mass for stability without making hikes or lift rides feel like a chore.
