The Black Crows Nocta 23/24 is a 185 cm alpine ski designed to deliver a balanced ride across a variety of slopes. It’s built for skiers who want predictable handling and a smooth, responsive feel from turn to turn.
With a sidecut measuring 145 / 122 / 136 mm, the Nocta strikes a compromise between quick turn initiation and solid edge hold, while its 19 m turning radius at 185 cm lets you carve medium-length arcs without feeling locked into one line. At 2025 g per ski, it stays light enough underfoot to reduce fatigue on long days, and the flat (unmounted) binding plate gives you the freedom to fit your preferred bindings exactly where you like.
In ski design, the turning radius refers to the circular arc a ski naturally wants to carve when tipped on edge—a 19 m radius means this ski will lean toward medium-radius turns that feel neither too tight nor too wide. Sidecut dimensions (tip, waist, tail) determine how sharply the ski pivots and how much edge contact it maintains: a greater difference between tip/waist and tail/waist yields more responsive turn initiation and reliable grip. The listed weight indicates swing weight—at just over two kilos per ski, the Nocta balances stability at speed with ease of maneuvering.

Black Crows says about the Nocta 23/24
The third generation of our iconic ski gains in camber what it loses in rigidity, keeping the same kind balance. A ski intended above all to surf the best powder, it features a rare asymmetrical design and is stable and reassuring at all speeds. For all the aesthetes of deep conditions. Beware, its special tips will be talked about in the lift line.
