Product Description

The Jones Storm Wolf is a freeride snowboard crafted for riders who seek stability and confidence when exploring ungroomed terrain. With a directional shape and a stiff flex, it’s designed to tackle everything from steep lines to deep powder, giving you a solid platform whether you’re charging hardpack or hunting fresh tracks.

Its directional outline shifts your stance slightly back, which helps keep the nose up in soft snow and maintains edge hold at high speeds. A flex rating of 8 delivers a responsive feel underfoot, so you can make precise turns without sacrificing the ability to absorb bumps and uneven snow. Together, these features create a board that’s lively yet dependable across a range of backcountry conditions.

The Storm Wolf uses Jones’ Christenson Surf Camber/Rocker profile, a hybrid design that blends traditional camber underfoot with early-rise rocker at the tip and tail. The camber section offers pop and solid edge grip on firmer snow, while the rocker zones lift the nose and tail for better float in powder. This combination produces a surfy ride that smooths out chatter and lets you slash through varied terrain with ease.

The Storm Wolf is a high powered swallowtail that blends the all-mountain versatility of a directional freeride board with signature Surf Series turn performance.

Surfboard shaper Chris Christenson and Jeremy Jones designed this new model by combining the shape and profile of the current Storm Chaser and the retired Lone Wolf, hence the name. The Storm Wolf features a Surf Camber profile, long sidecut, mid-stiff flex, 3D Contour Base 3.0 and Traction Tech 3.5 edges. The Surf Camber profile, long sidecut and Traction Tech Edges keep you locked in railing turns at speed while the 3D Contour Base and tapered swallowtail shape help you break loose slashing gullies and transitions. To absorb chatter and punch through rough snow patches, the Storm Wolf construction includes new Flax/Basalt Power Stringers and an ECO-Plastic topsheet. New for 22/23, we moved the stance inserts up 20mm to allow for a more centered stance and improve carving performance.
