The Masao Hardshell Hooded Jacket Men by Mammut is a waterproof shell designed to keep you dry and protected on the trail. It focuses on essential weather protection without built-in insulation, so you can layer underneath depending on the conditions.

Constructed with a three-layer laminate and a 100% polyamide outer fabric, this jacket stands up to wind and rain while remaining durable. Its breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24 h helps moisture escape during high-output activities, and at just 0.54 kg it won’t weigh you down when you pack it away.

A three-layer construction means the waterproof membrane is bonded between the outer fabric and an inner lining, which enhances longevity and prevents peeling. The 15,000 g/m²/24 h breathability figure indicates how many grams of water vapor pass through a square metre of fabric in 24 hours, helping to reduce internal condensation when you’re on the move.
