Constructed from Ortovox’s 3L Shell fabric, this jacket offers a durable yet breathable barrier against the elements. Its regular fit provides enough room for a mid-layer without feeling bulky, and a 20,000 mm water column rating ensures heavy rain won’t soak through. At just 492 grams, it’s light enough to carry on long treks while still offering solid weather protection.

The “3L Shell” construction means the waterproof membrane is bonded between the outer fabric and an inner lining, which boosts durability and packability compared to multi-piece garments. The 20,000 mm water column rating indicates that the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 20-metre-high water column before leaking, classifying it as extremely waterproof for sustained exposure to rain and snow.
