The Salomon Premiere Splitboard kit is built for riders who want a reliable setup for backcountry adventures. This package comes complete with climbing skins, crampons and a pair of protective goggles, offering the essentials to transition smoothly from uphill touring to downhill riding.

With its tapered directional shape, the board favors downhill stability and intuitive turns while maintaining a manageable nose width for efficient ascents. The camber profile underfoot provides springy response and solid edge hold on hard snow, and the medium flex rating of 6 strikes a balance between playful maneuverability and support at speed. Including skins and crampons means you won’t have to hunt for compatible gear, and the bonus goggles help protect your vision in changing mountain light.

The camber profile refers to the slight arch in the board’s base when it’s laid flat, which loads energy into the edges for better grip and pop. This design choice can make the board feel livelier on groomed or icy terrain and helps maintain control during fast descents.
