Product Description

The Salomon S/Force 9 is an all-mountain frontside ski designed for skiers who spend most of their time on groomed runs but like the freedom to explore varied terrain. With a width suited to 75–88 mm skis, it balances nimble edge-to-edge performance with enough stability to handle changing snow conditions.

What stands out on the S/Force 9 is its sidecut and binding combination. The 127 / 80 / 110 mm profile gives you a slightly wider tip and tail around a narrower waist, so you get quick entry into turns along with reliable edge hold. It comes mounted with Salomon’s Z12 GW binding, so you’re ready to ski straight out of the shop. At just over 2 kg per ski, it feels light enough for spirited carving without sacrificing sturdiness at speed.

The 16 m radius refers to the arc the ski naturally wants to follow when tipped on edge—this relatively modest radius helps you link medium-radius turns easily. The sidecut numbers (127 / 80 / 110) describe the ski’s shape from tip through waist to tail: wider at the ends for flotation and edge grip, slimmer in the middle for quick transitions. Together, these specs deliver a ski that feels responsive underfoot and holds well on firm snow.
